What weekly sessions feel like
Designed for nervous systems that crave a consistent place to build comfort and safety. The weekly rhythm gives you a chance to slow down and connect safely with both your therapist and yourself. This is especially important for people who never had safe or consistent relationships growing up.

Building the ground
Early sessions focus on mapping your history, your current patterns, and what you're actually carrying underneath the presenting concern. We build the therapeutic relationship and identify what your nervous system needs before we go deeper. Sessions in this phase tend to feel more conversational.
Moving through the material
Once the ground is stable, we begin the deeper work. This includes EMDR when the material calls for it, IFS-informed work, and trauma-focused conversation. The specific mix depends on you. Not every session uses EMDR or IFS. Some do. The clinical lens stays consistent throughout.
The work that shows up over time
Some patterns only reveal themselves once you've been in weekly work for months. That's part of the point. The rhythm creates the space for material that concentrated work would miss. Allowing the process to unfold at the right pace is a crucial part of the healing path.
